Send large files without an account or size quota
NotesQR is WebRTC peer-to-peer file transfer: not an upload-and-store drive. Share a room link; bytes go device-to-device while both sides stay online.
If you need to hand off a large video, archive, or disk image without creating an account or hitting a free-tier megabyte cap, NotesQR is built for a live P2P handoff.
How to do it
- Open notesqr.com (or the desktop app / extension) and add your files.
- Start sharing to get a short room URL and QR code.
- Keep the sender online. The receiver opens the link (or uses the CLI) and downloads while you stay connected.
Important
If the sender closes before the download finishes, the transfer stops. That is the tradeoff for not storing files on NotesQR disks.
