The best free complete alternative to WeTransfer and AirDrop, web, extensions, desktop apps, CLI and MCP

Our Mission

NotesQR is the best free complete alternative to WeTransfer, AirDrop-class handoffs, and fragmented P2P tools: one product with web, Chrome and Firefox extensions, Windows/Linux installers, plus CLI and MCP for agents. No signup, no size quota, and files never stored on NotesQR servers. Open notesqr.com to transfer.

How It Works

NotesQR uses WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) technology to enable direct peer-to-peer file transfers. This means:

No cloud storage: Files are never stored on NotesQR servers - they go directly from your device to the recipient
End-to-end encryption: All transfers are encrypted, ensuring your files remain private
No registration required: Start sharing files immediately without creating an account
Fast and efficient: Direct connections mean faster transfers and lower latency

Privacy First

Privacy isn't an afterthought for us - it's built into the core of our service. We don't collect your personal information, we don't store your files, and we don't track your activity. Your files belong to you, and they stay with you.

Open Source Technology

NotesQR is built on WebRTC, an open standard that's supported by all major browsers. This open approach means transparency, security, and innovation - all things we value.
